Kawai Kanjiro, the poet of fire born in Yasugi, and Kitaoji Rosanjin, the rare chef and ceramic artist. In the Ceramics Hall, about 50 works by each of these two masters are typically displayed. |

Kitaoiji Rosanjin Exhibition

Kitaoji Rosanjin (1883-1959) actualized his unmatchable talents in the art area, ranging from calligraphy to letter curving, paintings, lacquer works and ceramics. This exhibition will display about 100 masterworks, including works debuting at this time, in the Ceramics Hall. We hope you appreciate the aesthetic world pursued by Rosanjin. |

Pictures for Children Exhibition Room
The Pictures for Children Exhibition Room always displays works by six painters: Takei Takeo, Kawai Shiro, Hayashi Yoshio, Suzuki Toshio, Kurosaki Yoshisuke, and Iguchi Bunshu who actively worked for a children's magazine "Kinder-book" during the Taisho and Showa Periods.

Pictures for children, which bring a feeling of relaxed warmth, have attracted many people from children to adults, depicting children at play and smiling animals.
