    Pathway to Yagyu2010 162.0×159.0 cm
Yagyu‐no‐sato is a village that produced famous swordsmen. The painter produced this work, thinking of the people who once passed on this road. The mountainous road is seemingly dense and dark, but the sunshine through the trees brightens gently the gloomy stone pavement and the plants beside the road. This gives the paining a solemn atmosphere.
