Old Man of Pushkar1995 217.0×172.0 cm
The model is an elderly man whom the painter met in the small village of Pushkar, India, during his stay under an overseas training program offered by the Agency for Cultural Affairs. With a harmonious combination of India’s climate and people, this was completed as a large‐scale work, not merely a figure painting.
